A mint condition example of an original unofficial insignia for Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force, operating in
Afghanistan
.
This Task Force was the umbrella command for all of the US and foreign Special Forces engaged in the war in Afghanistan.
This is a more ‘official’ that the skull patch design, for wear in public and was issued in 2004, although it has since been copied in Turkey for collectors, most noticeably without the
gold metallic mylar thread
.
This insignia is not shown in the “
U.S. Special Forces Group Insignia (Post 1975
)
” however it is the actual insignia received by the team, not the copy of a decal and is 'C&D ident No. 135-45.
The originals have gold tinsel master parachutist insignia, etc.

Some of these team insignia are now being copied as fakes for sale to collectors, including those fakes made by unscrupulous manufacturers and sold by some unknowledgeable or dishonest (?) sellers, therefore parts of this image have been obliterated.
Originals may have stamp on reverse for authenticity verification.

Foreign air mail rate is .00.
As foreign insured mail is not available, can ship via registered mail at cost of .35.
