    Description

    RARE, 1905 Lewis & Clark Centennial Exposition bronze medal.  2.5 inches in diameter, weighs 4.9 oz.  Obverse has Expo logo of Lewis & Clark sighting Pacific Ocean, has "Westward the course of the empire takes its way" on ribbon below them.  Around outside it reads: Lewis & Clark Centennial Exposition Portland Oregon USA 1905.  Reverse has wreath and is uninspired, small flaw inside wreath.  Designed by William Klumpp, made by Butterfield Bros.
