    Description

Dec 1880 Fair for Abused Children Massachusetts Society Prevention Cruelty Prang
Offered for sale is a scarce and unique Victorian era item. It is a token of contribution for money given by a Freddie Whitcomb to "the Children's Table at the Fair for Abused Children, in aid of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, December, 1880."

The fair was held Dec. 8-18 in the Horticultural Hall, in Boston, and resulted in a net gain of ,000, followed by several large donations the following year, due to the publicity of the fair.
