    Description

You are bidding on a large, very rare original antique print from an 1880s French illustrated journal.
It depicts a beautiful pointer dog in full point. He is identified as Lord Rockingham II, owned by M. E. Bellecroix. The drawing is by the famous dog illustration of the time, P. Mahler, based on a painting by Jules Gelibert.
The caption identifies the dog, owner and artist.
It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture fills most of the page, with a French caption below.
The page is in excellent condition for its age.
There is text/photos on the back of the print.
See scan for an accurate view of the condition.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
