Antique/Vintage 7 1/2" Try Square with Rosewood & Brass Handle

Description

This is an old pre-owned try square tool with rosewood and brass hand. Measures 7 1/2" long metal blade and 5" long wood with brass trim handle. Has two patent dates April 16, 1872 and June.29.69 with initials C.E.G. stamped in wood. Has tight grain crack in wood, as shown in photos. Rule markings on metal blade are worn and faded. Tool also has some stains, nick's, dings, finish loss, and wear marks. Check photos for condition as photos are part of the description.
