The doubloon measures 39mm or 1 1/2" in diameter and is in
Excellent Condition.

Note:  The obverse features "Old Hard Hide" the Mascot of Ponchatoula.  The reverse features a Glimpse of the Annual Strawberry Parade through Downtown Ponchatoula and reads "WELCOME TO THE STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL...1990."  Ponchatoula, LA is the Strawberry Capital of Louisiana.  The town has hosted an annual Strawberry Festival every April since 1971.  On Saturday morning of the Festival Weekend, the Strawberry Festival Parade proceeds through downtown Ponchatoula with Truck Riders tossing Candy, Cups, Beads and Strawberry Festival Doubloons to eager parade spectators.
