    Description

    Original gilded brass badge inlaid with red, white and blue enamels, in the form of a flower head, depicting the names of the Colonies from around the world participating in the exhibition in petal form.
    mounted by the 'Wembley Lion' resting on curved scrolls "British Empire Exhibition" with year '1924' below; the reverse impressed with details in relief 'Prov.Patent No 8418/24'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, minor wear to gilt finish. This pin is missing it's original spinner.
