And Its Marvelous Universal Exposition
"Peerless Paris and Its Marvelous Universal Exposition: An Artistically Prepared Photographic Panorama of the Most Stately and Unique Buildings and Notable Sights Connected with the Great World's Fair of 1900 Together with a Number of Views of Leading Historic and Picturesque Places in the Great Metropolis," edited by George J. Hagar, published by the Universal Exposition Publishing Company in 1900, 9.5' x 12.5" hardcover portfolio (red cloth on boards with gilt lettering) containing the title page and 39 (of 40 called for) half-tone photos with long captions on the backs. One plate is missing (I don't know which one).
Contents are in very good condition overall, with a scattering on minor defects including one short edge-tear. The covers are fair: In two pieces staining, splitting at the spine ends, general wear, ribbon at the fore edge long gone.
